Sat for the last paper of my uni life yesterday! I'm now officially done with uni and am on my way to become a fresh graduate. Everything still feels the same. Don't think nothing much has changed. But I do thank God for providing for me throughout my entire 3 years of uni, helping me every single step on the way. To think I only came to Australia with my first semester's worth of uni fees paid for, a 20kg luggage bag (because I traveled with a budget airline, JetStar, to save money) and some savings from my short business venture in Malaysia, I would say I've done pretty well to survive for so long.
Now that the university chapter of life has passed, it's time for me to move on to the next chapter, whatever it may be. I will also be applying for my Permanent Residency (PR) this month once my results are released on the 10th of June. Then it'll be a 1-1.5 year waiting period before it gets approved.
As for the video I filmed in April, I'm sad to say that I didn't place in the video competition. But oh well, I've learned a little from that short experience and I'm currently planning for my next video competition where the dateline for submission is on the 26th of June.
Anyway, my plan for this month of June is to try and sort my PR application out and try and lodge it by the 30th of June before the new point system for migration takes effect on the 1st of July 2011. The next couple of blog posts will be pretty much on my PR application process.
